History of Vitasweet® Sucralose
In 1976, Sucralose was discovered. In 1985s, One group that was made up of 16 famous international experts estimated the security of sucralose,they affirmed that sucralose was safe in widely using. In 1988, Sucralose was put into the North America market in the brand of Splenda by McNeil Specialty Products Ltd. In 1990, ADI of sucralose set by FAO/WHO: 15mg/kg body weight. In 1997, China approved the use of sucralose. In 1998, FDA approved sucralose as a "general purpose" food addiitive.
